Every GST-registered business files a small set of recurring returns. Here's the plain-language version.
GSTR-1 — your sales report Due on the 11th of the following month, GSTR-1 reports every outward supply (sale) you made. Your buyers' input tax credit depends on you filing this on time.
GSTR-3B — the summary and payment Due on the 20th of the following month, GSTR-3B is where you summarise sales, claim input credit, and actually pay the tax.
GSTR-9 — the annual wrap-up Due on 31 December after the financial year ends, GSTR-9 consolidates the whole year. Businesses under the threshold turnover may be exempt in some years.
What happens if you miss a date - Late fees accrue per day, per return - Interest applies on unpaid tax - Buyers may chase you because their credit is blocked
A good firm never lets these dates arrive unannounced — that's exactly what our compliance calendar automates.
